STEWARD
Improve the skiing experience at Mad River Glen by funding the Sunnyside Double Mid-Station project.
Secure funding for the 2026 renovation of Stark’s Pub Mad River Glen.
EDUCATE
Maintain and upgrade the Kent Thomas Nature Center educational displays and building.
Host guest speakers to teach the community about the geology of Stark Mountain.
Sponsor the design and installation of interpretative signs on the geology of Stark Mountain to educate the community.
Develop and implement an environmental education curriculum for Stark Mountain.
Host the Spring of 2025 Vermont Master Naturalist Program in the Mad River Valley.
Help the Mad River Valley Bear Initiative protect black bears.
PLAY
Continue supporting local kids who can’t afford to ski by expanding the number of SMF Children's Ski Scholarship scholarships for the 2024-2025 season.
Cultivate the joys of reading and skiing by hosting the 7th annual StorySki.
Install kiosks to display SMF’s snowshoe and hiking maps so they are accessible to mountain visitors.
